Portugal Building Permits is an independent reference built from public council pages. It is not a council, not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.

Each municipality page shows its sources and the date they were checked. Council websites change, so check with the council before filing.

What the free check form stores

When you send the form we store: what you plan to build, the municipality, your email address, the date of the consent wording, the page you sent it from, and how you reached the site (the referring website and campaign tag, if any). We use it only to answer your request.

The request is kept for 24 months and deleted earlier if you ask by email. We do not ask for a passport or ID number.

Visit events

The site counts visits with anonymous events (page opened, scrolled, form used). It sets no cookies and stores no IP address or user agent. Nothing is counted if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
